A related field to architecture, construction has the same ability to hit all five letters of STEAM as its relation. However, construction activities are often more engineering based and have the ability to ground math in real world examples that engage teens and kids.
While there is no unit particular to this section there are a number of activities in a “construction” section on the “activities” section in the lefthand bar. This includes curriculum and links to partner organizations.
Like architecture, construction has a wide variety of jobs that are well paid and often in high demand. An overview of some degrees in the field can be found on College Consensus, and a fuller list of jobs both degreed and non is on goConstruct.
