The below communities of practice are made up of staff from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries and staff from libraries throughout the state. Community of Practice (COP) members come together regularly to network, share best practices, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on statewide projects. Training and Development
The Training and Development COP is comprised of members whose professional focus is on organization-wide staff training and/or learning This group meets bimonthly.

New Library Directors
The New Director COP is available to library directors who have been in their roles for 2 years or less. This space is available to those who are interested in networking with peers, discussing and developing best practices, and learning together.

Futures
The Futures COP is available to those who have been trained in strategic foresight through Transforming Libraries. The members come together to discuss library trends and the future of libraries in Pennsylvania,

Public Library Data Work Group
Meeting discuss the collection, use, and sharing of public library data.
Meets: Fourth Monday of the Month, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Policy and Procedure Development Steering Team
The Policy and Procedure Development Steering Team collaborates with the Operations and Relationships Advisor at the Bureau of Library Development to provide Pennsylvania Libraries with model policy and procedure templates. The templates are adaptable for use to support library staff and boards in providing excellent and equitable library services to every Pennsylvanian.
